NYC Restaurant Week is back for the summer, and it’s one of the best ways to explore the city’s food scene without spending a fortune. Over the course of a few weeks throughout July and August, restaurants across all five boroughs roll out special prix fixe menus so you can try a mix of new flavors, old favorites, and everything in between.   • 💵 Prices: Prix fixe menus are available at $30, $45, or $60 for lunch, dinner, or both.

  • 📆 When to Go: Menus are typically offered Monday through Friday. Saturdays are out, Sundays are optional.

  • 📲 Reservations: Not mandatory, but highly recommended. Pro tip: Lunch on Monday through Wednesday usually has better availability.

  • 📝 Who’s Participating? The official summer list hasn’t dropped yet, but if history is any clue, you can expect some heavy hitters. In past years, favorites like Red Rooster, The Russian Tea Room, Tavern on the Green, Le Jardinier, and Delmonico’s have joined in, so keep them on your radar while you plan.
